About CoolBabyKid
About Me
An 8th grade Language Arts teacher, blogger at CoolBabyKid.com, co-owner of social media network DoubleDutyDivas.com, and mom to two preschoolers, I'm never too busy to catch the latest Disney flick or plan our next WDW vacation. Having recently invested in Disney Vacation Club (DVC), we plan to make it a regular family destination.
About My Family
My preschool aged daughter loves everything Disney Princesses and is looking forward to celebrating her birthday this summer dining in Cinderella's Castle. Meanwhile, another preschool aged child will be donning makeup in the Pirate's League as he transforms into a crew member of the Black Pearl.
My Favorite Disney Parks Memory
My favorite Disney memory occurred on our last Walt Disney World vacation. When our daughter told Tiana and Naveen her little brother was sleeping in the stroller, she made her way through the crowd to give me a big kiss on the cheek. Her lipstick kiss is the picture they most love to look at in their Disney photo book.
My Favorite Disney Parks Attraction
Just one? In that case Pirates of the Caribbean takes the top spot since I've been enjoying that particular Magic Kingdom attraction for years as both a youngster and an adult.
My Favorite Disney Parks Resort Hotel
For the value, Port Orleans-French Quarter takes the cake.....or beignets in this case which the kids absolutely adored. Compact enough to be accessible to the pool, restaurant and buses, it also boasts a ferry to Downtown Disney. It's always carnival time in the French Quarter!
